Due to the fact that the NC Governor has authorized Phase 2.5 we are pleased to announce that we will accelerate our timeline for indoor gatherings, but will continue to gather in our parking-lot during the month of September and have reopened our playground to the kids. We have made the decision to reopen our Church Center for in-person worship & service on Sunday mornings starting October 4th at 10AM with a Live-streaming option. We will continue to observe the governor's recommendations and pray accordingly so that we can adapt as needed. Please see the important information below regarding the steps we are taking to maintain a safe, healthy and fearless environment:
Pray for your protection. The LORD God alone is our shield and strength.
Please, do not come to any gatherings if you feel ill in any way. If you are experiencing a cough, fever, cold or flu-like symptoms please stay home. We want to care for each other well and not spread sickness unnecessarily whether COVID or otherwise. We want to practice care of others.
Please let us know if you plan on joining with us so we can prepare the appropriate number of seating areas and space them accordingly. Guest are always welcome, and we hope you will feel at home. So, please reach out to us so we can be expecting you!
Please bring a mask for close contact connection and plan on using hand sanitizer as needed or if you plan on entering the building for use of the facilities. If you do not own a mask, we will be happy to provide one for you near the door. If you are at-risk with other health concerns we recommend you join us online as COVID-19 can attack the lungs and circulatory system. In many circumstances we take calculated risks in leaving our homes, and we will not miss what God has for us because of fear, but often we must live within the reality of our limitations as well. Please use wise judgement in making decisions that will affect you, others in the body, and our neighbors.
The Lobby doors will remain the only means of entering and exiting the building, except for in the case of the Nursery which is set-up for self-service as needed. Our bathrooms and nursery are cleaned before and after every gathering.
We will have hand sanitizer stations outside the Church Center and inside by the lobby.
We will continue to provide an online option for those who are unable to join us in-person, so you do not need to worry about missing a gathering. We know it doesn't feel the same, but we are grateful to gather however possible during this season.
As we begin to use the inside of the Church Center again, we will be limiting the building to 12-14 family units (depending on number of singles), and will provide a second gathering time as needed. For those using our Center during the week, we will limit to 25 in the sanctuary and 8 in each of the classrooms. (Nursery will not be used during the week). We will have groups clean after every use (and before as needed) and have COVID level cleaning several times a week by a professional service as well to keep things sanitary and safe.
We are excited to worship together in-person again! But we do not want anyone to feel pressured either to join or not join us in person - come as the Lord leads you.
