HOPE Community Equipping

We gather as God's people weekly on Sunday mornings, but often this is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to being the Church of Jesus. We have to intentionally gather repeatedly throughout the week, not just to meet but because we know these relationships are essential to our wellbeing.
One of the ways we do this is as a Community of HOPE. During this season, we are learning what it means to be a Community of HOPE. A HOPE Community is a collective of 2-3 LifeGroup Fellowships and those neighbors in relationship with the gathered disciples (Usually a HOPE Community is 30-70 people). We currently are 1 HOPE Community.

Gathering to Practice the Values

It's not enough to say we have a certain DNA, that contain values, we have to live out of that DNA. On Wednesday nights we do just that; we gather to flex the muscles of our DNA, becoming strong as the Church. Each week we will emphasize a particular value while still practicing most if not all the others.

-- We will share a meal together, and hear stories of how God is working in our lives.

-- We have Family Fun Nights -- movies, block parties, cookouts, fire pits, etc.

-- Prayer to follow.

-- We will spend time in Worship & Prayer with a short Equipping talk on the Deeper Life.

-- We will learn together, and prepare for the Mission.

-- We will learn to have better relationships, and care for our souls.

-- Intercession for our City to Follow.

Week 4: EXTEND LIFE EVERLASTING (Community Development)

-- We will go out and do a service project or be involved in someway in our neighborhood.

Week 4: EXTEND LIFE EVERLASTING (Spiritual Friendships)

-- We will invite our neighbors into our homes to grow our relationships with them.
