HOPE Community

We gather as God's people each weekend for WORSHIP & SERVICE, but often this is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to being the Church of Jesus. We have to intentionally gather repeatedly throughout the week and month, not just to meet but because we know these relationships are essential to our wellbeing.
One of the ways we do this is as a Community of HOPE. During this season, we are learning what it means to be a Community of HOPE. A HOPE Community is a collective of 2-3 LifeGroup Fellowships and those neighbors in relationship with the gathered disciples (Usually a HOPE Community is 30-70 people). Our Purpose is to live as community--practicing our values; celebrating & having fun together; sharing in rites of passage (and other sacramental instances); supporting each other; and to serve our neighbors. We currently are 1 HOPE Community in North Charlotte, We serve the neighborhoods of Davis Lake-Eastfield, Highland Creek, and Prosperity Village, as well as Stonehaven, and Bradfield Farms in Charlotte, and Moss Creek in Concord.

Gathering to Practice the Values

It's not enough to say we have a certain DNA, that contain our values, we have to live out of that DNA. On Wednesday nights and some Saturdays or Sundays throughout the year we do just that; we gather to flex the muscles of our DNA, becoming strong as the Church. Each week we will emphasize a particular value while still practicing most if not all the others.
