A Fellowship is like a small discipleship group. This is a group of 6-12 people (adults or youth). Where a Fellowship differs from your traditional small group is that it does more than gather once a week for Bible Study & Prayer. A Fellowship's purpose is to walk the Journey together. This means that we are deeply invested in sharing the common life to make whole disciples in life-2-life spiritual friendships. In addition to engaging God in the scriptures and through prayer, we share our origin stories and how they connect into the larger story of God. We share meals, and important moments in our lives. We rejoice & lament in worship together, we serve one another and our neighbors by operating in our spiritual grace gifts. We extend the life everlasting. And we work together to see our lives transformed by the life of Jesus. As part of a larger HOPE Community, a Fellowship is an effective way for everyone to feel personally connected to the community and to learn and grow our faith in an intimate and supportive environment. A Fellowship gathers in organized and spontaneous ways and times. We are making disciples, disciples grow as they progress together through life, not just in circles or in rows. Our desire is not only to know more...but to live more...like Christ!
We have Fellowships meeting in several homes in Northeast Charlotte and Southeast Charlotte as part of our HOPE Communities..
