At the Juncture of

Meaning & Wholeness...

We believe that Jesus has called us to demonstrate who he is to this world because He wants to reconcile all of creation to Himself. On this Journey there are moments of connection with other people. It is in these times that we have a choice. We can bring meaning to those moments in our search for wholeness or we can let them pass us by. But that meaning doesn't create substance by chance, it comes by a lot of listening and has to be anchored to something or someone unchanging, so that the changes we then make last in our move towards wholeness.

We are to give ourselves fully to demonstrating God's unchanging character, especially His love as best as we can by revealing Christ, restoring hope & helping to reclaim lives as we connect with those at our jobs, in our families and friendship circlesThis is what the Lord says in Jeremiah 6:16a:

Stand where the roads cross, and become aware.

Ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is and walk in it.

Journey its path and you will find rest for your souls.

One of these ancient paths is the path of sacrificial love and forgiveness. Sometimes this means we also have to cross barriers to demonstrate His character to those we wouldn't normally associate with; people of other races & ethnicities, the poor, the marginalized, people of other political bends, you name the difference, chances are Jesus would ask us to build relationships with them to show who He is, and what he did for us all!

When Jesus preached to the crowds in the Book of Luke, he was quick to say that we are called to love those who are hard to love - not just the ones that love you in return. Crosspointe Alliance Church exists to do just that - express God's unending love and mercy to those that need it the most. Jesus said it best in Luke 6:35-38:

But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return, and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High,

for He is kind to the ungrateful and the evil.

Be merciful, even as your Father is merciful.

Judge not, and you will not be judged; condemn not, and you will not be condemned;

forgive, and you will be forgiven; give, and it will be given to you.

For that reason, we celebrate true diversity, and still manage to come together as one with those who love Jesus

  • New to Charlotte?

Welcome! It is a real joy for us to meet newcomers to our City and to tell you about all the good things God is up to in our community. For over fifty years now it has been our vision to lead people on their journey into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. That means that no matter where you've come from and where you are on your spiritual journey, we want to come alongside to inspire, equip and encourage you to live out a life that will bring glory to God and be a blessing to the world.

  • Weekend Worship Gatherings

Our Sunday morning gatherings provide an opportunity to bring all of our LIFEGROUPS together and share in a time of worship, remembrance and celebration of what God is doing in our lives. Because each of our daily routines are so different, our Sunday Gatherings are a special time to bring us all together and tell stories and struggles to the entire Crosspointe family. As we gather we worship God, study His Word, and pray to Him for our neighborhoods, workplaces and 3rd spaces. We are then released back to our contexts of mission encouraged and filled to be a blessing to Charlotte.

  • Living in Community

Our HOPE Community is at the heart of our church.  We believe that if we are being the Church by demonstrating Christ's love with each other, it will be possible to love God and others with our whole lives.

  • Student Discipleship

We are a small but growing church, with lots of kids. We take Jesus' love and teaching of kids as importantly as we do for the adults in our church. Check out the links below to get more info about our offerings for kids in different stages of life.

  • Our Movement

We are a MISSIONAL CHURCH and part of a great worldwide movement, The Christian and Missionary Alliance (for more info, click here). For more than 135 years, THE ALLIANCE has stood at where the roads of Christianity and the World meet, and have taken on the challenge to Extend the Whole Gospel for the whole person, to the whole world. Through workers around the globe, THE ALLIANCE has been reaching out to as many of the countries and people groups of the earth with a message full of love, forgiveness, and grace that offers reconciliation to God through our Lord Jesus Christ! In addition to this we have a relief and development arm (CAMA Services) that helps meet the needs of people in distress after natural disasters, and helps train people up in majority world countries to face the challenges of poverty--homelessness, good medical care, clean water, hunger, and job training to name a few.

  • Give with Crosspointe Alliance

We believe that financial giving is one way God has invited us to worship Him by stewarding well all that He has given us. Some churches tend to be shy in asking for donations to keep ministry going. We believe in absolute transparency with our finances, understanding that people in the past tended to second guess where their money went when they gave it to a church. We believe that having you see our spending for the mission will encourage you to give more, and make more of an impact in this world for the gospel.

We are strategic in fulfilling our purpose.

Our purpose as Crosspointe Alliance is clear and simple: to make Jesus known and be known by Him. Like our purpose, our message is equally simple - we are intentional to make Jesus known as Savior, Sanctifier, Healer, and our Near & Coming King. We do this by living in a way that accurately demonstrates His Presence and Power in our lives. The thoughts, and attitudes we keep, the words we speak, and the actions we take are a representation of how Jesus has entered our lives and changed us from the inside out.  The Spirit of Grace He marks us with makes a life that gives Him glory possible as we Journey along with Him.
